Dr. Thankey was born and raised in Calgary and has 10 years of experience as a general dentist

She believes that oral health is a very important aspect of general health. One of her passions is helping anxious and dentalphobic patients access dental care. Growing up she had a fear of the dentist herself and understands how stressful and anxiety provoking a dental appointment can be. She believes good communication, empathy and compassion from the dental team are important in making patients feel comfortable. She enjoys engaging with patients and motivating them to play an active role in their own oral health.

After receiving a B.Sc. in Biological Sciences with a Major in Zoology from the University of Calgary, Dr. Thankey travelled across the world to sunny Sydney, Australia to study dentistry and received her DMD in 2016. She then worked across Australia in large cities and small regional communities in both the public and private sector gaining valuable skills and experience. She has brought these skills back to Calgary (along with her husband) and is ready to provide excellent dental care to Calgarians.

When she’s not at clinic she enjoys spending time with her family. On weekends she tries to get out to the mountains and go hiking and camping. She is also a bit of a foodie and loves trying out new recipes in the kitchen and visiting all the restaurants in Calgary’s ever changing food scene. She would love to hear your recommendations!

Dr. Suprabha Pabbi-Doad is a distinguished dental professional with a global perspective. After completing her education in India, she embarked on a transformative journey, relocating to Canada in 2012 to pursue a Masters in Global Health. her unwavering dedication led her through the rigorous national dental equivalency process, culminating in the acquisition of her Canadian Dental license.

Dr. Supra's approach to dentistry is marked by her warm and inviting demeanor. She strives to create positive dental experiences, prioritizing patient comfort and well-being. This ethos is built upon a foundation of collaboration and education, where she actively engages with her patients to understand their concerns and guide them towards well-informed decisions about there treatment options. Her ultimate goal is to establish enduring connections with her patients providing, personalized dental care infused with compassion and understanding. She is fluent in English, Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu ensuring effective communications with a diverse range of patients.

Away from the dental chair, Dr. Supra finds solace in the embrace of nature. her love for the outdoors comes alive through invigorating hikes and immersive camping experiences in the Rockies of Alberta. In these moments, amidst awe-inspiring vistas and the invigorating mountain air, Dr. Supra forges lasting memories with her husband, daughter and son.
